Narendra Modi's rival Sanjay Joshi quits BJP

The tussle between Gujarat Chief Minister and one of the 'strongest' leaders of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Narendra Modi and his arch rival former BJP's National Executive Sanjay Joshi proved a major setback for the later, as after stepping down from the post of party's National Executive, Sanjay has to lost the primary membership of BJP.

According to sources, after advertising anti-Modi campaign in the state of Maharashtra and Gujarat, Sanjay has to submit his plea of 'reliving' from the party to the Party President Nitin Gadkari, amid reportedly huge pressure from once his friend 'Narendra Modi'.

Gadkari has 'reportedly' accepted the resignation of Sanjay Joshi.

Gadkari who was credited for bringing back Joshi in the party after his six years exile in last November, has joined hands with Modi a fortnight ago in party's national conclave that held in Mumbai.

Joshi, a former Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) pracharak is now likely to work for its primary organization as a RSS activist, sources say.

No comments have come from the party in this regard.
