Delhi University begins admission process today

The process of admission to county?s most prestigious university, Delhi University begins today. Delhi University has opened its doors for the sale of admission forms for Monday today for the under-graduate aspirants.

Sale of admission forms for general and OBC students will start from June 4 and will go on till June 18 at 10 university centres and 12 post offices across the capital.

Delhi university is one of the favorite admission spot for the under graduates from every part of the country and students from every state rush to the capital for taking admission in different courses.

The University offers a total number of 54,000 seats across 60 colleges in the city for which a large number of students are expected to apply like every year.

The sale of forms at post offices will remain open from 10 am till 4 pm. However, at college counters, the sale of forms will close at 1 pm. In addition to that, students can get the forms online also at: www.du.ac.in. The students tend to apply online will be provided with a unique registration number that will be required during the admission process.

The first cut off list for undergraduate will be released on June 26 and the students will get the time of 3 days to take admission. University has planned five cut offs to be released release during the first phase while the remaining cut offs will be released on June 29, July 3, July 6 and July 9 respectively.

The University has also made special arrangements for the students in reserved category. The students in physically handicapped category have been given a 15 days time to register at the office of the Dean, Students Welfare from June 4 to June 18.
