Popular micro blogging site Twitter is planning to introduce some effective measures in order to reduce the visibility of hate speech on the website, says a report.
Dick Costolo, Chief Executive, Twitter has suggested one solution as to hide tweets from dubious accounts.
"One solution would be to hide from users' reply page tweets from individuals that are not seen as authoritative," Costolo explained.
This will include the users with no followers, no biographical information and no profile picture who just posted abuse on other people's timelines, The Herald Sun reports.
According to a FT.com report, Costelo also admitted this move could also reduce the democratic nature of the site.
Costolo also admitted that the new move was not necessarily in line with the company mantra that 'tweets must flow'.
