Idea launches new Android based ID 918

IDEA, the third largest GSM service provider in India has come up with a new dual-sim Android based smartphone based on the third generation mobile spectrum.

The Andriod based ID 918 phone was launched by Idea cellular on Friday that will cost Rs 5,994 in the market.

The phone has been crafted with various attractive features, which includes a 3.2-inches display of resolution 480 x 800 pixels. The phone runs on Android 2.3(Gingerbread) operating system and has been provided with 512MB RAM. The phone has an internal storage memory of 150MB that is expandable up to 32 GB. The device is configured with a 3.2 mega pixel camera.

The other features of the device include GPRS, EDGE, 3G, WLAN, USB, Bluetooth for connectivity and a 1300 mAh battery.
