CBSE 12th results: The performance of Delhi students declined

The statistics of Delhi student's CBSE 12th result shown a slight decline from the last year, though the girls once again outperformed the boys by recording an overall pass percentage of 90 per cent to maintain the graph.

This year more than 2.28 lakh students appeared for the 12th board exam conducted by CBSE, out of which 85.40 per cent passed showing a minor decline from last years 85.45 percent.

The total number of girls appeared in the exam from the capital was 1.09 lakh, out of which 98,185 passed that is 90.06 percent in comparison to last year's 89.72 percent, thus showing a significant improvement.

Moreover, 81.14 percent boys passed this year in comparison to last year's 81.58 per cent showing a minor decline. A total of 1.19 lakh boys appeared in the exam and 96,916 of them passed.

The results from the government schools of Delhi are quite impressive, which has shown an increase in the passing percentage to 87.70 per cent this time from last year's 87.53 per cent.
