Facebook Camera App for iPhone simple in photo sharing but is not like Instagram

New Delhi, Fri, 25 May 2012 NI Wire

Facebook has launched a rival application of Instagram by the name Facebook Camera, its first camera app for iOS.

Like other camera applications to take a photo user has to tap camera icon in the top left corner of screen and shoot. You can crop and tilt your photo afterwards.

This application is downloadable from Apple's App Store. It is very convenient for users who want to share a whole lot of photos or album without wasting time in picking and choosing photos.

Though the Android version of this app is not available in the market and Facebook has said that it is carefully looking at what might make for a good Facebook photos experience across Android devices.

However it does not have filters that were solely responsible for making Instagram a big success. Filters give the ability to change normal photos into sepia or vintage tinted photos.

Facebook Camera app synchs to Facebook and allows user to share photo and consult one another's photos.

Facebook bought Instagram in April 2012 in a $1 million deal but believes it to raise at as a completely different venture and not mix with Facebook Camera.
