Ghaziabad, Wed, 16 May 2012 NI Wire

A Special CBI Court in Ghaziabad Wednesday will conduct a trial of the accused after multiple court hearings in Aarushi Talwar and Hemraj twin murder case of Noida. Today is the same day when four years ago, 14-year old Aarushi Talwar was found murdered in her bed.

Aarushi Talwar was the teenage daughter of dentist couple Nupur and Rajesh Talwar while Hemraj was their domestic help, whose dead body was recovered from terrace of Talwar Couple?s residence to the next day.

Earlier, the lower court on Monday had adjourned the hearing while asking the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to hand over a CD and other related documents to the Talwars.

Nupur and Rajesh Talwar were demanding the call details of Krishna, Rajkumar and Vijay Mandal, who were initially arrested in the case. The couple also wanted the statements of all police officers who have investigated the case.

The CBI has given the statement of Data Ram Nanoria, the first investigating officer in the case, to the Talwars. The couple had asked for call records and narco analysis tests of Krishna as well. The judge made no mention of it in the order.

Nupur Talwar's bail will also come up today in the Allahabad High Court.

The Supreme Court is also due to hear the Talwars' review petition to quash charges against them today. The apex court, in its previous hearing, had termed Nupur's plea premature.
