Islamabad, Dec. 25 (ANI): Pakistan's Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira has said it is the politicians who would decide the country's affairs, not the military or the judiciary.
Kaira said his party, the Pakistan Peoples Party has great respect for the judiciary, but the latter should stay away from taking decisions on political issues, reports The News.
He claimed that terrorism was at its peak when the PPP came into power after the general elections in 2008, but now the terrorists have been defeated, and the writ of law has been established in Swat, Malakand and other troubled areas.
He further said that the PPP government has led Pakistan to back the armed forces against terrorism. (ANI)
