India successfully test fires nuke capable Agni missile

Bhubneswar, Dec 12 (ANI): India successfully launched nuclear capable Agni-1 ballistic missile from the wheeler island in Odisha on Wednesday at 8:15 am.

The intermediate-range ballistic missile, which can strike a target 700 km away, was tested from a facility on Wheeler Island near Dhamra in Bhadrak district.

The Strategic Forces Command (SFC) as part of regular training exercise launched the DRDO developed medium range ballistic missile.

All the mission objectives were met successfully.

Dr. Vijay Kumar Saraswat, Scientific Adviser to Defence Minister, witnessed the launch. (ANI)
