Macau, Nov 8 (IANS) Vietnam's capital Hanoi won the right to host the 18th Asian Games in 2019, the Olympic Council of Asia announced here Thursday.
United Arab Emirates' Dubai pulled out at the last minute and left Hanoi and Indonesia's Surabaya as the only other two bidders, reports Xinhua.
Surabaya was awarded the 2021 Asian Youth Games.
