Wellington, Nov 3 (ANI): Khloe Kardashian has blamed her "nipplegate" wardrobe malfunction on 'The X Factor' on Hurricane Sandy.
The 28-year-old reality television star, who is married to NBA star Lamar Odom, kicked off her hosting duties this week on the US show, but was left red-faced when she went braless in a blouse she didn't realise was sheer.
"I had no idea, with my dressing room lights you didn't see a thing," Stuff.co.nz quoted her as saying backstage.
"I see Simon [Cowell] sort of doing something like this [points to her chest]... then I hear in my ear, 'We've got to fix your shirt.' I didn't know what they were talking about and I heard, 'Full areola is out'," she said.
But Kardashian said this mishap was down to her wardrobe getting stuck on the other side of the country while she filmed in Los Angeles.
"We moved the show up because of the hurricane, so my stuff that was being sent was stuck on the East Coast," Kardashian said.
"That top [arrived] first thing," she said. (ANI)
