London, Sept. 10 (ANI): British heavyweight boxer David Haye has slammed World Boxing Council (WBC) champion Vitali Klitschko for his performance against Manuel Charr, saying he should be ashamed of his title defence on Saturday, and added that the Ukrainian boxer would not last six rounds with him.

"I was very disappointed with Vitali's performance and I would love to get in with him and knock him out," Haye said.

"I saw so many holes in his defence. He would not last six rounds with me," he said, adding: "I would throw clusters of punches. Vitali is a warrior but his chin is not better than my punch'.

"His performance was terrible. He should be ashamed of himself," the Daily Star quoted Haye, as saying.

Haye is desperate to fight the WBC world heavyweight champion, who stopped Germany-based Syrian Manuel Charr, with a horrible cut above his eye, in the fourth round.

According to the report, Haye said that a fight against Germany-based Klitschko would be the biggest in the nation's boxing history. (ANI)
