Sharjah launches taxi service for disabled

Sharjah, Sep 7 (IANS/WAM) In a move to reach out to the people with special needs, the Sharjah Transport Corporation (STC) has unveiled a special taxi service for them.
The new vehicle will lift a disabled passenger along with his or her wheel chair into the car.
"We shall bring more on the road in the near future. We expect to have about ten cars in two to three months," said STC director general Abdullah Al Zarri.
