Japan beat India for bronze at Asian volleyball meet

Hanoi, Sep 7 (IANS) Japan came back from one set down to defeat India 16-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-21 for the bronze medal at the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Cup in Vietnam's northern Vinh Phuc province Friday.

With an averaging 10cm height advantage over Japan, India started well with a good performance in the first set, Xinhua reports.

Japan struck back and won the second set easily. Japan continued to keep good form and sealed the next two sets and the match.
