Heavy downpour submerges Mumbai, more rains expected

Mumbai, Sept 3 (ANI): Incessant rains over the past few hours have submerged most of the city, throwing normal life completely out of gear.

Television reports show heavy waterlogging in Sayan, Kurla, Dadar, Ghatkopar, Malad, Hindmata, Jogeshwari, Kandiwali, Santa Cruz areas, even as heavy rains are predicted in the next 24 hours.

Reports suggest heavy traffic jams in many areas, including the Western Express Highway.

Local trains along the Western and Central routes have been running late, reports show. (ANI)
