Apple faces three months wait in efforts to ban eight Samsung devices
London, Aug 30 (ANI): Tech giant Apple faces a three month wait in its efforts to pull eight Samsung products from the U.S. market after a judge scheduled a December hearing.
Apple recently submitted a list of eight Samsung products, which it wants to be banned in the U.S. market.
The products include Galaxy S 4G, Galaxy S2 AT and T, Galaxy S2, Galaxy S2 T-Mobile, Galaxy S2 Epic 4G, Galaxy S Showcase, Droid Charge and Galaxy Prevail.
Apple submitted the list after a jury found Samsung copied the iPhone and iPad in creating and marketing the products.
According to The Telegraph, it had initially been thought that the injunction hearing at which the bans will be decided would be scheduled for September 20.
Both parties will attend court on that date, but only to hear Samsung's effort to have the injunction lifted against the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Apple's request for an injunction against the eight Samsung phones, as well as Samsung's attempts to have the jury's original verdict set aside, will be heard at a hearing on December 6.
According to the paper, US District Judge Lucy Koh, who presided at the trial in San Jose, California, will hear arguments from both sides. (ANI)
