Race to bag 'newly single' Robert Pattinson heats up

London, August 30 (ANI): Katy Perry's best pal is said to have set her sights on Robert Pattinson.

Shannon Woodward has reportedly been growing close to the Twilight Saga hunk, who was left devastated when his estranged girlfriend Kristen Stewart cheated on him.

"R-Patz and Shannon have been getting really close. She's fancied him for years, but he's always been dating Kristen when their paths crossed at social events," a source told the Daily Star.

"She understands what Rob's going through. She split up with Andrew Garfield after he fell in love with his Spider-Man co-star Emma Stone. Shannon's hoping they can be more than just friends," the source added. (ANI)
