Meet 'Usain Colt': The super horse that's as unbeatable as 'lightening Bolt'

London, Aug 24(ANI): Frankel, a four-year old horse, has been hailed as 'Usain Colt' due to his impeccable performances during races, clocking up 13 wins on the trot.

Frankel has won more than two million pounds in prizes, but it is his stud value, which puts him in the sporting money stratosphere.

After his racing retirement next year, Frankel's potential earnings from siring speedy offspring are immense.

Naturally, Frankel's trainer, Sir Henry Cecil, is keen about keeping an eye on his most valuable asset.

CCTV cameras cover Frankel's stable and Sir Henry can view the feed from his bedroom.

The joy Frankel has brought to Sir Henry and devoted race fans who turned out in their thousands to see him triumph this week at York is inexplicable.

The trainer has been battling stomach cancer and is too unwell to go racing. But he made an exception to see Frankel defeat a top-class field in the Juddmonte International.

"I feel 20 years better. He's definitely the best horse I've ever seen," The Sun quoted Sir Henry, as saying.

It was Frankel's eighth consecutive European "Group One" victory that meant he broke the record of seven consecutive wins set by Rock Of Gibraltar, part owned by Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

Frankel, owned by Saudi Prince Khalid Abdulla, has been trending on Twitter, featured on TV ads and is on billboards as far away as South Africa.

His regular jockey Tom Queally proudly said: "A horse of his calibre deserves a huge following so it's good the public have latched on."

There had been talk of retiring Frankel earlier this year but his owner wanted to see him race again.

That delighted Sir Henry, who said: "It was marvellous. A lot of people commercially would have retired him." (ANI)
