Laura Trott says real golden time at Games was having beer with Prince Harry

London, August 22 (ANI): Laura Trott, the English track cyclist who won two gold medals at the recent Olympic Games, has revealed that the real golden time at the London Games was having a beer with Prince Harry.

Recalling one memorable introduction at a beach volleyball match, she said she doesn't expect the Prince to be so normal the way he acted that day.

"Prince Harry was the best," the Telegraph quoted her as saying.

"Not many people can say they've been that close to a royal. Anyway, we were drinking beers, because competition had finished. And we didn't have a bottle-opener, because you're not allowed them in the stands.

"So he opened one with his hands and the lid went flying, and it skimmed over this guy's head by a tiny amount. He was like, 'Oh my God!' That's really weird, isn't it? You don't expect him to be so normal," the 20-year-old double Olympic champion added. (ANI)
