New York, August 22 (ANI): Michaele and Tareq Salahi, who gained national attention in November 2009 by allegedly crashing a White House state dinner in honour of India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, finalized their divorce on Monday.
"I engaged with Tareq . . . to get resolution with him for our divorce to proceed at the court yesterday," the New York Post quoted Michaele as telling Page Six.
"I am happy I did so, and all is resolved," she said.
In 2011, Michaele took off with Journey guitarist Neal Schon, causing Tareq to file a 50-million-dollar suit against them.
The suit has been tossed out.
"I was never concerned about the lawsuit involving me, especially after the judge dismissed it twice," Schon said.
"To me, it was always about Michaele's divorce. I'm on tour doing what I love - with the woman I love. Life is good!" he added. (ANI)
