22 killed in Afghan suicide bombings

Kabul, Aug 14 (IANS) At least 22 people, including three policemen, were killed in suicide bombings in Afghanistan Tuesday, an official said.

The blasts took place in Zaranj city, the capital of Nimroz province. Over 40 others were injured, Xinhua reported.

The bombers blew up their explosive vests in different parts of Zaranj, provincial governor Abdul Karim Barahawi said.
