I am not a pessimist: President

New Delhi, Aug 14 (IANS) Asserting that he was not a pessimist, President Pranab Mukherjee Tuesday said for him "the glass of modern India is more than half full".
"I am not a pessimist; for me, the glass is always half full, rather than half empty," he said in his Independence Day-eve address.
"I would go to the extent of saying that the glass of modern India is more than half full," he added.
