Elderly woman stabbed to death by robbers

New Delhi, Aug 14 (IANS) A 60-year-old woman was stabbed to death and her husband was beaten up by three unidentified youths who then robbed them, police said Tuesday.
The incident was reported around 2 a.m. Monday in south Delhi's Najafgarh area.
The deceased, Krishna, was the wife of Jagdish Chand, a peon in a private school. The assailants fled with some valuables and jewellery.
"The culprits attacked and injured Chand when he tried to resist. A case has been registered and a hunt is on to nab the culprits," said a police officer.
