Two men rob Rs.57 lakh, shoot three people

New Delhi, Aug 11 (IANS) Two people on a bike robbed Rs.57 lakh after shooting and injuring three employees of a petrol pump here Saturday while they were going to a bank to deposit cash, police said.

Puneet Bansal, Jitender, Vinod Kumar and their car driver Jagmohan were going to a bank in Vivek Vihar in east Delhi to deposit money in the morning when the heist took place.

"Two boys riding a bike stopped their vehicle at a traffic crossing and fired on them. The duo snatched the money and ran away, leaving their vehicle," police said.

Jitender, Vinod and Jagmohan were injured.

The victims were going to Vivek Vihar from Dilshad Garden, where their petrol pump was situated.
