Olympic champs Laura Trott and Jason Kenny kiss at beach volleyball final

London, Aug 9 (ANI): Double Olympic gold winners Laura Trott and Jason Kenny decided to go public with their budding romance by kissing at the beach volleyball final.

The British cycling duo, who had earlier been chatting with Prince Harry, sat in the row behind footie star David Beckham.

Trott, 20, and Kenny, 24, laughed and joked together with Harry as they watched Brazil win bronze at Horse Guards' Parade.

But during the final, between two American teams, they got openly touchy-feely at the sell-out clash.

"At the beginning of the night they just looked like two cycling pals enjoying a night off," an onlooker told the Mirror.

"They were both leaning over and chatting to Prince Harry. There was no sign that there was anything going on between them. But later on things definitely changed. They were kissing each other in front of everyone - and it wasn't any old snog.

"We couldn't believe what we were seeing. Laura had a big smile across her face and Jason looked chuffed with himself," the source added.

Trott landed gold in the team pursuit at the weekend and doubled her tally by winning the women's omnium.

The golden couple came out of the arena hand in hand shortly after 10pm.

Kenny was asked how the night had been. He replied: "It was absolutely brilliant.

Asked if the pair were an item, he said: "These things are always very tricky after copious amounts of alcohol have been taken." (ANI)
