U.S. drone strike killed ITU militant leader in Pak, admits terror outfit

Islamabad, Aug. 6 (ANI): A leader of the Islami Tehreek Uzbekistan (ITU) militant group was killed in a drone strike launched in a tribal area of Pakistan in April this year, the organisation has claimed on its website.

"Our leader Usman Adil was killed in a drone attack in Pakistan's tribal area in April," The News quoted the outfit, as saying in its website.

A Pakistan military official also confirmed the killing of Adil in a drone strike.

Four people had been killed in the said drone attack carried out in Pakistan tribal area in April this year. (ANI)
