Olympic tennis: France earn bronze in men's doubles

London, Aug 4 (IANS/RIA Novosti) French duo Julien Benneteau and Richard Gasquet beat Spaniards David Ferrer and Feliciano Lopez in the men's doubles Olympic bronze medal match Saturday.

After a spirited display in the first set, Ferrer and Lopez ran out of steam in the second to lose 7-6(4), 6-2.

France has the chance to take gold in the men's doubles when Michael Llodra and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga face American twins Bob and Mike Bryan in the men's doubles final later in the day.
