Majji scores hat-trick for Salcette FC

Mumbai, Aug 2 (IANS) Striker Majji A Majji scored four goals including a hat-trick to power Salcette FC to an emphatic 6-0 win against Crusaders SC in a Third Division match of the Mumbai District Football Association League played at the St. Xavier's ground, Parel Thursday.

Mangesh Desai and Kaustubh got the other two goals.

Salcette took total control of the proceedings as Majji fired home the first three goals to complete his hat-trick and give his side a commanding 3-0 cushion at the end of the first half.

Majji was again in the thick of action in the second session. He first provided an assist for Desai to slam home the fourth goal before striking the fifth goal. Later Agashe hammered the final nail in the Crusaders coffin by scoring the sixth goal.

In another match, Barcode FC overcame Falcon Mulund by a 2-0 margin. Sanjit Joshi and Aditya Menon were on target for the victors.
