R Patz went ring shopping with Kristen before cheating scandal

London, July 29 (ANI): Robert Pattinson took Kristen Stewart for engagement ring shopping three weeks prior to the affair scandal breaking out.

The 26-year-old actor and Stewart had shopped at the Beverly Hills store of jeweller-to-the-stars Neil Lane.

"They looked so much in love. He couldn't stop staring at her as she tried on gold rings with various exotic coloured diamonds," the Daily Express quoted a shop assistant as saying.

"They told Neil they didn't want anything traditional and he was planning to create a stunning custom piece for her on a budget of around half-a-million dollars," the assistant said.

The couple, at first furtive about their romance, held hands and cuddled as they gave the designer their ideas for the "perfect" engagement ring.

Days earlier, the 'Twilight' star had told a magazine that he was no longer "scared of marriage."

"I feel ready for anything with Kristen," he said.

However, their three-year romance came to an end when photos were published of Stewart in a car kissing Sanders, her director in 'Snow White And The Huntsman.' (ANI)
