Sylvester Stallone leads mourners at Sage's funeral

Los Angeles, July 23 (IANS) Actor Sylvester Stallone led the mourners at his son Sage's funeral following his tragic death.

The 66-year-old was among the many people who came to pay their respects to Sage, during the service at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church here Saturday.

Following the service, Sage's body was then driven to Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery where he was laid to rest, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Sage was Sylvester's 36-year-old son from his first marriage to Sasha Czack, who was found unresponsive July 13 at his Studio City apartment here.

Following Sage's tragic passing, Sylvester, spoke out about his terrible loss.

"When a parent loses a child there is no greater pain. Therefore I am imploring people to respect my talented son's memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha," he said.
