New Delhi, July 20 (IANS) Following the arrest of his aide Balkrishna, yoga guru Ramdev Friday said the government had acted vindictively ahead of his protest in the capital August 9.
Balkrishna was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Thursday after a non-bailable warrant was issued against him by a special court for allegedly submitting fake and forged documents to obtain an Indian passport.
"Balkrishna was arrested because of his connection with me," said Ramdev.
Ramdev is scheduled to start an agitation against corruption and black money at Ramlila Ground here from August 9.
