Youth hangs himself in Delhi

New Delhi, July 16 (IANS) A 19-year-old youth, hailing from Uttar Pradesh, facing financial crisis for the past few years, committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his residence here, police said Monday.

Aman Yadav, a resident of Gonda, was found hanging inside his rented accommodation in central Delhi's Nabi Karim area Sunday afternoon by his neighbours.

He was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

"No suicide note was recovered from his possession. But, neighbours informed us that he had been facing financial crisis for a long time. It might have been the reason behind his extreme step. However, we are trying to find out the exact reason behind the incident," said a police official.
