Double for Ballal at Autocross Championship

Coimbatore, July 15 (IANS) Bangalore's Ranjith Ballal achieved a double in the second round of the National Autocross Championship here Sunday when he won the top honours in the Gypsy and 1400cc Open classes.
The results:
850cc Open: Ashok Mudigere 1; SM Srihari 2; Ranjith Ballal 3. Up to 1150cc: Lokesh Gowda 1; Shuchindra SD 2; Babban Khan 3. Up to 1400cc: Ranjith Ballal 1; Rahul Kanthraj (PGA Motorsports) 2; Den Thimmaiah (PGA Motorsports) 3. Up to 1600cc: Vishal 1; Dhruva Chandrasekar 2; Shafeeq-ur Rehman 3. Up to 3000cc: Rahul Kanthraj (PGA) 1; Chetan Shivaram 2; Dhruva Chandrasekar 3. Gypsy (4x4): Ranjith Ballal 1; Shafeeq-ur Rehman 2; Phillip Thomas 3. Ladies (up to 1400cc): Ashika M (PGA) 1; Veena Ponnappa 2; Sanjana Ganapathy 3. Novice: Siddharth 1; Pranav Chedur 2; Maniraj Kumar 3.
