London, July 13 (ANI): Two top-of-the-range Mercedes belonging to Premier League Ace Jonjo Shelvey has been stolen by burglars from his countryside home.

Shelvey, 20, was away from his isolated manor when the burglars broke in and robbed the two distinctive white Mercs.

It is thought the cars may have been stolen from Shelvey's luxury home in the up-market village of Blackmore, Essex.

Essex Police are hoping someone may have noticed the posh motors being driven away.

"The theft of two distinctive white Mercedes would have attracted some attention," The Sun quoted a police official, as saying.

The midfielder was in Liverpool with his mum Donna at the time of the break-in, which was discovered by his brother George, 21.

England under-21 star Shelvey, who moved to Anfield from Charlton in a 1.7 million pounds deal in 2010, has kept his home in Essex despite settling in Liverpool. (ANI)
