London, July 9 (ANI): Barry Gibb has received an invite to sing at a tribute concert for his late brother, Robin Gibb.

At his brother's funeral last month, Barry led an emotional tribute to Robin, reciting a poem he had written called Ode To Rob.

Now the last surviving member of the Bee Gees has been asked to step into the spotlight once more, to commemorate his late brother's life, the Telegraph reported.

Mike Read, the radio presenter, is organising a tribute concert for Robin. "I'm in the process of putting a stellar line-up together and Barry is among those invited," he told the paper.

However, there are doubts over whether Barry Gibb will take to the stage as he has become less fond of the limelight in recent years. "He is quite reclusive these days and doesn't like flying, and of course this would be very emotional for him."

The concert will occur on 15 September at Hurtwood Park Polo Club in Surrey with proceeds from the night going to the Bomber Command Memorial Fund, a charity Robin championed prior to his passing. (ANI)
