Russian gamer clears debt to get back laptop

Moscow, July 6 (IANS) An addictive computer gamer in the Siberian city of Omsk has paid off his two-year housing utility debts after authorities seized his laptop, officials said Friday.

Bailiffs also took his bicycle and a synthesizer, reported RIA Novosti.

"The debtor was extremely worried about his laptop because he is a fan of a popular online web game. The next day the 40,000 rubles ($1,230) was paid, and the property returned," Omsk's bailiff service said in a press release.
