5.8 magnitude earthquake jolts Nagaland

New Delhi, July 1 (ANI): A moderate earthquake, measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale, jolted Nagaland on Sunday.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the earthquake struck the region at around 9:44 a.m. on Sunday.

The epicentre of the quake was located at Phek in Nagaland.

Tremors were also felt along Indo-Myanmar border region.

There are no reports of any casualties and damages so far. (ANI)
