Delhi Govt. extends school summer vacations by a week

New Delhi, July 1 (ANI): The Delhi Government on Sunday extended the summer vacation of city schools by one more week in view of the ongoing heat wave.

Delhi's Education Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely said that all government-run schools and a majority of private schools would open on July 9 instead of July 2.

"We have decided to extend the summer vacation by one week and schools will reopen on July 9 instead of tomorrow," Lovely said.

School vacations commenced on May 12. (ANI)
