Political chaos linked to conspiracies against Pak nuclear assets: JI chief

Karachi, Mon, 25 Jun 2012 ANI

Karachi, June 25 (ANI): Pakistan's Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Syed Munawar Hasan has said the rulers of the country are working on a dictated agenda to weaken Pakistan and pushing it towards a total anarchy so as to provide justification to external forces who want to keep the nuclear assets of Pakistan under some international watch mechanism.

Hasan said the ill-conceived policies of creating a clash between the national institutions are also aimed at to create political chaos in Pakistan, reports the Daily Times.

Hasan said the JI has been of the opinion that the so-called war on terror is the war of enemies of Pakistan to destabilise this country. He said the war has resulted in three major offshoots: missing persons, military operations and drone attacks. (ANI)
