Madhuri wants Gene Kelly's tap dancing shoes (Movie Snippets)

Mumbai, June 25 (IANS) If there's one thing Madhuri Dixit wants as a reward for her dance talent, it is late Hollywood actor-dancer Gene Kelly's tap dancing shoes.

"I want Gene Kelly's tap dancing shoes. I know all dancers here in India, but I love his style of dancing. I have never tap danced in my life. So, maybe if I wear his shoes, I'd be able to tap dance," said Madhuri.

Gene Kelly was a well-known, Academy Award winning multi-faceted personality, who featured in films like "Singin' in the Rain" and "An American in Paris".

Madhuri, who is his fan, is currently a judge on dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5", aired on Colors.

Lisa Ray prefers Bombay over Mumbai

Actress Lisa Ray says the flavour of 'Bombay' remains unchanged for her even as the city is now called Mumbai.

"All those on auto-correct: I'm a twelve-year long citizen of the Maximum City pre-Mumbai. Flavour unchanged, it's always Bombay for me," Lisa tweeted.

The Indo-Canadian actress got engaged to her beau Jason Dehni earlier this year.

No 'Koffee With Karan' this year

Filmmaker Karan Johar says the next season of "Koffee With Karan" will happen only next year.

Asked if viewers will get to catch up with the spice on Bollywood stars' lives through the show this year, he told IANS: "Next year only!"

For now, Johar's hands are full as he is busy with his next directorial "Student Of The Year" and his latest small screen engagement -- "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5". He is judging a reality show for the first time.
