London, Mon, 25 Jun 2012 ANI

London, June 25 (ANI): Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian has revealed that living a life under the public glare has put a strain on her three year marriage to Lamar Odom.

The socialite has admitted that she feels a lot of pressure to keep her husband happy and to make her marriage work.

During her appearance on Oprah Winfrey's new chat show, the 27-year-old also revealed that this pressure increased significantly especially when the couple began fertility treatments to conceive their first child.

Kardashian insisted that even though she tries to avoid the gossip surrounding her high-profile relationship, but someone else usually brings it to her attention.

"I don't feel the pressure by outsiders. I'm not someone who's easily influenced by the public," the Daily Mail quoted Kardashian as saying.

"This is my marriage, this is my real life. I feel pressure from me, from myself to be a great wife."

Khloe married her NBA player husband in 2009 after dating for one month.

The two have faced a series of challenges including Lamar being traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks last year, and then being quickly dropped from his new team.

The couple recently ended their E! reality series, Khloe 'n' Lamar, to focus on starting a family. (ANI)
