IGNOU course for BPO industry aspirants

New Delhi, June 21 (IANS) The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started a diploma course in business process outsourcing (BPO), the university said Thursday.

"Keeping in view the pulse of today's generation, the diploma programme has been designed and developed with Accenture in BPO-finance and accounting," said the university in a statement.

"The course will enable aspirants to develop their professional skills to be eligible for employment in the mushrooming BPO industry," it said.

The course incorporates a blend of theory and practical, designed by eminent academicians, Accenture subject matter experts, BPO training and e-learning organisations to provide students with a comprehensive learning model.

The programme is targeted towards undergraduate, graduate and working professionals, it said.

The last date for submission of application forms is July 30.
