Beijing, June 21 (ANI): An exile group has released graphic photos and video of two Tibetans setting themselves on fire in a protest against China's political and religious suppression.
The two men self-immolated in Yushu prefecture, a populated heavily Tibetan area in west China's Qinghai province.
The group and the Xinhua News Agency said one man died and the other was seriously injured.
The group released photos of a charred body and a video showing two men holding up Tibetan independence flags as flames engulf them, Express.co.uk reports.
Both stumble and fall in the seven-second video before one man rises and runs down the street in flames, the report said.
About three dozen people have so far self-immolated, mostly in the restive south-western province of Sichuan.
China, which claims Tibetan areas are an inseparable part of the country, accuses the Dalai Lama for inciting the self-immolations and encouraging separatism, a claim he denies. (ANI)
