London, June 20(ANI): England striker Wayne Rooney, who scored the winner in ongoing Euro Cup's Group D match against Ukraine that fired them into the quarterfinals, enjoyed Eric Clapton's depressing ballad, Tears In Heaven.
The Manchester United striker shared a play list that was called Wazza pre match tunes online, and it makes for some really gloomy listening, The Sun reports.
Other songs on Rooney's selection included Bruce Springsteen's Streets Of Philadelphia, which is concerned with the 1980s AIDS epidemic in America.
Further heart-wrenching offerings included Delicate by Irish troubadour Damien Rice, and the play list also featured Cat Stevens hit Father And Son and downbeat Arctic Monkeys album track Riot Van.
Bon Jovi's It's My Life and a cover of Oasis' Champagne Supernova were also part of his play list, which for some time at least punctured the gloom. (ANI)
