5 pounds 'wonder' smoothie behind Jennifer Aniston's fab figure

London, June 20 (ANI): Jennifer Aniston is the envy of women the world over for her glowing appearance and toned figure, and at 43, she is the envy of women half her age.

Now, the secret to her perfect body has been revealed.

The 43-year-old star is apparently an ardent fan of a new 'wonder' smoothie, worth 5 pounds - and drinks nothing else on one day every week.

"The drink is made up of fresh, organic vegetables. Beetroot, cucumbers, spinach, garlic, carrots, celery and kale," the Daily Mail quoted a source as telling Grazia magazine.

According to the source, the former Friends star drinks the super healthy concoction one day a week, usually on a Saturday.

Nutritionist Jeannette Jackson said that the smoothie could have amazing and cleansing health benefits.

"The alkaline vegetables prevent bloating, help ease water retention and even mood swings," Jackson said.

"Beetroot helps clean the blood of toxins, celery and carrots boost potassium and sodium levels, and kale and parsley offer immense benefits to the brain, so you'll feel less stressed.

"The drink is filling so should be easy to do for one day a week, but make sure it's part of a healthy balanced diet," she said.

Buzz is that Aniston's new smoothie diet is forming part of the preparations for a wedding after onlookers spotted her and boyfriend Justin Theroux looking loved-up in Paris last week. (ANI)
