London, June 15 (ANI): Nicole Scherzinger has signed a 750,000-pound deal to be the fourth judge on 'The X Factor'.
Simon Cowell has decided the former Pussycat Doll is perfect to sex up the ITV1 show, despite sacking her from 'X Factor USA' a few months ago.
It was hoped that the popstar could be signed on the "cheap" for 500,000 pounds.
But the 33-year-old knew Dannii Minogue had been offered 1 million pounds for the same job and so spent a week negotiating with 'X Factor' executives until both sides agreed to 750,000 pounds.
The girlfriend of Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton, who appeared on the show in 2010, may be announced as judge No. 4 before the next round of 'X Factor' auditions in Newcastle.
"Nicole's management have negotiated a good deal," the Mirror quoted a show source as saying.
"It's a great salary considering most of the auditions have already been done by special guests," the source added.
It ends months of speculation about who would sit next to judges Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos.
Other contenders were Kelly Rowland, Dannii Minogue, Geri Halliwell and Rita Ora. (ANI)
