Grenades seized in Assam

Guwahati, June 9 (IANS) Police in Assam's Kokrajhar district Saturday arrested two people travelling by a bus and seized 12 grenades and six detonators from them.
The two have been identified as Raphel Murmu and Suraj Hasda, police said.
"We carried out a search operation on a bus, based on a tip-off. The two people were carrying the grenades from Daranggiri area in India-Bhutan border to Kokrajhar district," police said, adding that investigations were on to find out more details.
