Woman beheads son to take revenge on husband

Beijing, June 8 (IANS) A woman in China beheaded her four-year-old son to take revenge on her husband, a media report said Friday.
Police arrested the 29-year-old woman but did not reveal her identity, the Shanghai Daily reported. The incident took place around 6.30 a.m. Thursday in Guangdong province.
Alerted by the boy's screams, the grandmother rushed to his room but it was locked from inside. She peeped through a window and saw the boy's head being chopped off with a knife by his mother.
