Maoists kill two in Jharkhand

Ranchi, June 6 (IANS) Maoist guerrillas Wednesday shot dead two suspected police spies after dragging them out of their homes in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district, police said.

Around 15-20 Maoists killed Yugal Kishore, a gram pradhan, and Jeevlal Swati, a Bharatiya Janata Party activist, in Keraikela village, about 170 km from here, according to police.

The killers left behind a pamphlet claiming Kishore and Swati were "police informers".
