London, June 4 (IANS) At least 10 people have been arrested during Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee celebrations in London, police said Monday.

Metropolitan Police commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe said that despite 1.5 million people being out on the streets in London Sunday to see the royal flotilla, only 10 people were arrested for minor public order offences like drunkenness.

Around 250,000 people were expected Monday on the streets of London to watch a concert outside Buckingham Palace, the Independent reported.

"We have had absolutely no problems at all yet. It seems to have gone really well. We had one and a half million people out yesterday (Sunday) and made just 10 arrests, so that is not bad," Hogan-Howe said.

"Our main job is to keep people safe and make sure they can enjoy themselves," he said.
